2010: 525,600 minutes, 525,000 moments so dear. 525,600 minutes - how do you measure, measure a year? In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights, in cups of coffee. In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife. In 525,600 minutes - how do you measure a year in the life? How about love? How about love? How about love? Measure in love.

2010! What a glorious year! For me the year of two thousand and ten was filled to the brim with memories, with love, with friends, with heartache, with joy, with adventure, with dreams being fulfilled, with tough life decisions, with challenges, with glorious victories, but most of all it was a year filled and marked with CHANGE. I reached the pinnacle of my K-12 schooling....and looking back I conquered it! And moved forward to a completely new frontier college.  Rather than explaining 2010....I would like to show you it.
Here it is in all of its reminiscent glory:

Give them the fist! Motto of the 2010 Senior Class Officers! Went snowshoeing for the first time :)

saying farewell to 2009

Ringing in the new year 2010! This was just the beginning!

Friends ever since Jr. High finishing our holiday break and celebrating staying friends :)

Senior Cotillion with my best guy friend Joey Laprevote! Best high school dance ever. Planned it start to finish.

Just one of the great moments in 2010!

Sweethearts....worst dance ever, but I had fun with my date!

2010 was filled with friends.

One of my biggest accomplishments all year. I locked my keys in my car and I broke into it all by myself. :)

ReAL Salt Lake game with one of my Senior boyfriends John Ropp.

Went to Prom with him it was so much fun. My last high school Prom ever.

just tryin to hang on all year haha

Senior Pictures my last photo shoot until my wedding most likely haha

Officer Banquet...celebrating a year well planned with so many memories.  From planning homecoming, to senior cotillion, to designing the senior shirts, from planning senior ball, and planning graduation....we planned it all...we conquered it all.

SBO's, Senior Class Officers, and the Lancer.

Inanimate Object Morp...we were towels and it was the only dance I went Stag to.

Through a series of blessings I was nominated for LHS's largest scholarship the Cleone Whitman. I was one of six finalists selected out of our senior class along with 5 of my close friends. It was really tough, but in the end it all was alright and I came out $1,000 richer. :)

Candis and I both got scholarships to SUU and were planning on being roommates, but that was one of the year's biggest heart breaks. She totally bailed. Oh well it was for the best. :)

Excited to be seniors with scholarships :) I finished high school off strong with a 4 year 4.0 GPA and made my personal goal of getting my school completely paid for (it was one of the biggest blessings of the entire year).

Enjoying Senior Ball after planning it for hours.

The best Senior Class in the entire world. Huzzah for the class of twenty-ten!

Graduated from seminary! I enjoyed taking early morning my entire senior year.

My buddy Tana! Him and I had AP Calc together all year :)

My first kiss and lifelong friend Carson Morley :)

One of the accomplishments I was most proud of: Graduated at the top of my class, Summa Cum Laude (with Superior Honors; Gold Cord), and in National Honor Society. I worked so hard to accomplish all that I had in high school and graduation was the cherry on top.

My friends all worked hard and did super well too!

Loved graduating with my best friend! I got to read her name at graduation. Alyson Lisa Moffet Summa Cum Laude :)

One of My favorite Pictures of the entire year :)

2010 seniors!

One of my favorite teachers Mr. Conner. The U.S. would be much better off if he were President.
the right way to wear your honors cord.

The brain children aka the Senior Class Officers of 2010 behind graduation. I enjoyed serving as Senior Class Vice President and being able to lead the girls out into the auditorium. I was the first girl to graduate in all of Davis County, which was pretty cool. There were 472 students in our senior class and I cannot wait to plan our reunions with the rest of our Senior Class officers.

I spoke at graduation, which was one of my dreams ever since freshman year. It was pretty scary, but I was proud of it and I loved my closing line: We are so much more than you know, we are so much more than the world knows, and we will do so much more than anyone knows.  We are so much, much more. The world is ours… We are the class of 2010 and We are LANCERS!

Senior Bash was a blast! I got to go indoor skydiving for the first time ever!

Went on a Senior Trip with 12 of my closest friends to Mexico! We all wore watches on the trip.

My two best friends came on the trip with me I had a blast! :)

Played, relaxed, and celebrated together on the beach.

Had my first legitimate virgin margarita at PiPi's in Puerto Vallarta.

So tan with my sick tat.

My summer fling with Tucker Hatch.

Run to Bountiful peak with two of Weber State's soon to be soccer players.

First time to the zoo since I was 10 on a date with Ry.

Summer Fun :)

We did a giant slip-n-slide on giant billboards twice in summer '10.

Took a road trip for the day up to Lava Hot Springs, ID so much fun!

Stayed at Joey Lap's Cabin and played at pineview as summer came to a close.

Annual summer trip to the condos with my best girl friends. SO much fun.

Matisyahu Concert in SLC

Annual Techno Bon-Fire Dance party in the mountains!

when she wasn't working...I spent every moment I could with my best friend.

Said goodbye to the bedroom I had enjoyed for 12 years...now my lil sister Sophie resides there.

Although very anti-climatic...I turned 18, became an "adult" haha not, and reached a life milestone. Last birthday with my parents together...they split a week later...but I still love them both and even that couldn't ruin one of the best years of my life.
Started my first college semester as a freshman at Southern Utah University.  Discovered dorm life. I became a true T-bird. This pic documents my first college football home game. Through life's mercy I met three of my best friends now in the entire world. They're amazing. Names I had never knew before, but now hold so dear. Abby Richards, Kelsey Dastrup, and Kalynn Peterson. I love them so and my year would not be the same without them in it.

Started rockclimbing! This was my first outdoor climb! A 5.9+!

Bingo night! Fun college activities.

shopping trip to St. George

First outdoor 50 ft climb!

Fun trip up north to Lagoon! We conquered the Sky Coaster in the rain :)

Reuniting with old friends during school breaks rocks!

First time heading up to my new Ski-resort Brian Head.

Finished my finals at SUU a week before USU so I came up to visit. My first semester was super tough I took 17 credits...but I clung onto my 4.0 GPA barely.

Scotty was another one of the fun new college friends I was  blessed to meet!

last soccer tournament with my favorite team in the world.

I know it's out of order...but 2010 marked my first cruise ever. It was so much fun playing on the ship.
this year marked my first fall in 12 years that I didn't play soccer. I miss it so much!

Annual gingerbread party!! It is a tradition at my house with my friends and it was so fun to have my college friends come down and join us as well.

visited temple square.

Now it is New Years Eve.
2010 was a fantastic year. So much happened so much changed. It was a year filled with soooooo many memories. Looking back on this year I had so many goals, so many dreams, and I accomplished all that I wanted to. 2011 marks a new year and a clean slate although I don't have any expectations for it yet. This has been a glimpse at a year in the life of me; Emily.

Farewell 2010 we had a blast together.

Love your friend,
Emily Sue
